The Lord has always led us throughout our time in Zambia, and it’s been quite the journey! And even now, as we start a new chapter in our lives and ministry, our prayer is for wisdom and the Lord’s guidance. 

It has been an incredible year filled with many blessings and opportunities as we serve in Zambia’s Eastern Province. In the city, we’ve reached more people with the Gospel than ever before! Our print shop has been busy around the clock! This has been the highlight of the month. In April, we purchased 22 reams of paper, printed 24 theological books and 35 discipleship lessons, and published 11,500 tracts, all costing K16,000 ($900). It’s been an expensive endeavor but well worth the time and money spent to get the Word of God in the hands of the people.

Just recently, we started our weekly treks to the village again. We had taken two months off to allow farmers time to tend their fields during the first rains. The village ministry is significantly more challenging due to the long travel times, washed-out roads, linguistic barriers, and cultural traditions that keep the people from accepting the Gospel. There’s so much that undermines the work of God here, but these subtractors only remind us that the need is great.
